For My Readers –

Hi! Come on over and plop a seat next to me and lets talk a moment.

I have been blogging since 2009 now, and I love it. It has started as a hobby to keep myself entertained while my husband went to med school, and over the years it has evolved into a great joy of mine. I love to share these things with you – stories of my girls growing up, recipes for delicious food, projects I’ve accomplished (and you can, too!).

For the most part I’ve been chucking along and doing things as best I can, and I think if you have followed me from the very beginning you can notice how this blog has grown and (I hope) improved. But there are so many awesome features and things I can bring to this site, but to do that, I have to spend money.

Every now and then I will write a post that includes affiliate links, sponsored reviews, or will receive free product in exchange for a blog post. And on those posts I will share with you a disclaimer so you know what is coming up, but I also wanted to have this page to give you more information.

I promise that I will never write a review or suggest an item that I do not myself use, love, and want to share with you, whether I get paid for it or not. I would never publish a positive review in exchange for payment. I want you to know that I am not getting rich off of this blog. And any and all money that is made goes straight back into the blog, to make your experience and this site all the better.

Here are some of the specific programs that I am a part of:

  • I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to You will mostly notice these links in my Featured Finds posts, once a month, and I will get paid a small percentage (literally, 4%) for each purchase that is made using a link I provide – so, in reality, pennies.
  • I am also a member of the affiliate network with Teavana. I am completely addicted to this team, and am always mentioning it, so I thought it might be beneficial for us both!
  • I also have ads in my sidebar. These are google ads, and are specialized for each reader based on your internet and search history. I have no control over what shows up there. I make a small amount of money off of these ads based on how many users visit my site each month and the advertisers sites.

If you have any additional questions, please ask! And THANK YOU for supporting me and my blog!
